Confidentiality is foundational to the coaching relationship at Meridian Executive Coaching. The effectiveness of executive coaching depends on an environment of complete trust. This page outlines our commitment to protecting all information shared within that relationship.

Our Commitment

All information disclosed by clients during coaching sessions — including personal circumstances, business strategies, organizational matters, and professional challenges — is treated as strictly confidential. We do not disclose, discuss, or share this information with any third party without explicit written consent.

Scope of Confidentiality

Confidentiality applies to the content of all coaching conversations, written communications, assessment materials, and any documents shared in the context of the engagement. This commitment extends indefinitely beyond the conclusion of any coaching relationship.

Organizational Engagements

When coaching is sponsored by an organization, we establish clear boundaries with all parties prior to engagement. While we may confirm that sessions are occurring and that the client is engaged in the process, the content of individual sessions is never disclosed to sponsors, employers, or any organizational representative without the client's explicit consent.

Mandatory Exceptions

Confidentiality may be limited in the rare circumstances required by law, including situations involving imminent risk of harm to the client or others, or where disclosure is compelled by a valid legal order. In such cases, we will notify the client to the extent permitted by law before making any disclosure.

Data Handling

Notes, records, and communications related to client engagements are stored securely and accessible only to the coaching professional directly involved. We do not use client information for case studies, publications, or any form of marketing without express written permission, and any such use would be fully anonymized.
